You and Martin and DFM use it as chat software, what would you know.
You probably filter out 99% of the newsgroup, and think because you
can exchange 50 chats with each other in the course of a day, that
it's a functioning travel newsgroup. As soon as a see a thread that
looks like this:

I just kill the whole thread. If I want to chat with somebody I use
Skype.
