This is mostly true. It's expensive to go to Europe (particularly at the
moment), and the rabble tends not to have much money. They also whine about
the price of everything and are frequently reluctant to pay for things even
when they knew the price in advance.

If they've spent thousands to come to Europe and they want to get the most out
of the days they have, a driver or guide or whatever can be a good investment,
even at several hundred euro a day.

Both. I encourage walking because it's the best way to see the city, but time
constraints or the fatigue of clients often requires that we use the Métro at
least a little bit.

Driving raises a lot of legal and insurance issues. I've been asked once or
twice but had to decline. For Versailles or Giverny or other places outside
Paris, we take public transportation. |
