Italy's the only country where I've been randomly asked to produce ID,
and that because they thought my partner might be an illegal immigrant.
I've mentioned this before. Once they figured out we were foreigners
(they assumed I was american because of my Harvard uni ID) they
patronisingly 'invited' us to leave the area as it was dangerous.
Suppose it must be true what they say about Termini! :)
