especially after the shops close and pull down those security
shutters. With no traffic they become "deserts". Its OK where you have
lots of restros etc like central London, but thats not usually the
case in the suburban shopping centres, Bromley doesnt have any in the
pedestrianised area, or even a pub, I assume the rent etc is too high?
Add a few yobs and a dozen skateboarders and you have an intimidating
environment.
