As far as London/Paris is concerned the only train is www.eurostar.com.
Anything else involves taking a train to the coast then a boat or some other
conveyance across the water and another train to Paris. Of course you can
also fly - British Airwasy, Air France, Easyjet and Ryanair but watch the
airports that each uses - some are more convenient than others.

Getting to London from Heathrow there are myriad options and it depends
where you are going. Try

as a starting point for investigation. In paticular, if you're going to
anywhere other than the centre it may well be that a taxi could be a good
bet - by "taxi" I don't necessarily mean the famous London black taxi. You
can pre-book what we call a "minicab" but which you might know better as a
"limo service" (the type of car will not be a limo). Do a Google for
minicab and the name of the suburb you are going to. This might also help
