Gee a gentleman that actually answered the guy's legitimate question
instead of jumping all over him. That's refreshing. The others can
be ignored. I would add that you could look into a day ticket which
allows you to use unlimited buses and the Tube on the day you arrive.
I usually do that when going to London, as the single fare has gotten
quite outrageous and you will probably want to look around London
after you check into your hotel. They are great value for that. The
journey planner site shown above details these.
