Well, usually it's cheaper to rent a car for a longer period of time
than several cars for short time periods.

I'm just wondering about the logistics of moving around wife, baby and
my little girl. Perhaps it would make more sense to choose an island as
a basis from which to explore the surrounding area?

I'm trying to mix a beach holiday with visits to historic sites and
places with a breathtaking scenery (for the photos).
