Well no.
In 1945-7 the Jews had nothing to loose and looked like getting thrashed
until the British a complete mess of things and ran away a day early, in
one of the most disgustingly biased actions of the colonial era
They told the Arabs they were leaving but didn't tell the Jews...
But the Arabs weren't ready (they rarely are), except for the Arab Legion,
but as they were British officered, and the British officers seem to have
gone home with the rest, the unit didn't fight well...
No suicide bombers though...
I wonder why...
