I think I also mentioned (a while back!) that on holiday in Florence 10
years ago, we were given an extra bottle of spumante free (in a cheap
studenty type place.) I imagine the limoncello had a higher value
though!

I think when we were in Sorrento, a free glass of limoncello was
compulsory, but it's a touristy town, so prices were probably quite high
already.
