If you look on the technical sites you can find references to the calculations
that show why BBC iPlayer is overloading Internet. The BBC should be spending
money on new programs and not wasting it on other things all the time. They
might start by ensuring that everywhere in UK has full BBC coverage via
conventional means.
I noticed that Belgian TV Canvas charges per program downloaded, not that many
do, as none of the relevant links appear to work on their website :o)
