The certified simulators are designed to PROPERLY teach the skill set(s)
necessary to fly an aircraft in the real world.

Real pilots want to reinforce their skill set so when they are in a real
airplane, they can handle situtations which arise and survive. They don't
have a "reset" function or a "pause" function.
