Not to spoil the pleasure of the OP to do dictionary search :-) but the
first means "way out (driving)" and the second "way out (walking)".
Probably a car won't fit through the Ausgang :-)
The OP should however be warned that motorway exits are also marked
"Ausfahrt" (in Germany, and "uit" i.e. "out" in Holland). It is NOT a
place name :-)
And "Umleitung" (usually brown on a yellow background) indicates a
diversion when a road is closed for works, accidents etc.
