Not sure how much a gallon is, but assuming it is 4.5 litres, one gallon
of car fuel costs here in Germany 4.5 * 1.44 Euro * 1.56 Euro/$ = $10
or the other way round the price in Euro/litre of US car fuel is:
3.77 $/gallon / 4.5 gallon/litre / 1.56 dollar/Euro = 53 Euro
cents/litre
In other words, compared to German prices, you are paying peanuts for
car fuel in the USA.
