No, as I said in another reply, I am not an expert, self-appointed or
otherwise. I just wanted to point out that the Euro did not start in
2002 or 1996 or 1990 or any time other than when it in fact did.

and later in the story he says
'...in the late 1990s, when the monetary union was being created...'
and
'...the euro began circulating in 2002, three years after its adoption
as Europe's currency.'
This is not particularly hard to understand. Are you being deliberately
