One problem is that a lot of newer headsets are very leaky- particularly
the ones with apple ipods I've noticed. Of course, if someone's
headphone noise bothers you, it's likely it's far too loud- a lot of
people listen to their music at dangerously loud levels- and given how
loud it can be, I think it's a fair assumption that many of them have
already damaged their hearing.
