I will be traveling in Italy later this month with my wife and two
children (ages 18 and 20) and am thinking of getting an Italy
Saverpass since we will be visiting a number of cities and have
figured that it would be cheaper got go first class with an Italy
Saverpass than to go 2nd class buying tickets the regular way. One
reservation (no pun intended) that I have is that it is not clear if
the pass guarantees us seats on the train. I understand that it gives
us permission to board the train but does not guarantee a seat. Is
this likely to be a problem in Italy in May?
