Greetings, fellow travelers:

I am going to Spain in September. First two weeks with a tour,
second two weeks bopping around on my own.

Could you please help me decide about a Rail Pass: I need to decide
whether to spend the extra money on lst Class or stay in 2nd class.
I do have to watch my budget, but don't want to be *too*
uncomfortable.

Any personal experience or info on the Spanish rail pass, and
references to other sources about the pass will be MUCH appreciated!
