I have *been* on a Thomson charter flight to Antalya, which has several
huge beach resorts for Brits. The passengers were straight out of Viz -
the ones immediately around us being the Fat Slags. They were cautioned
after smoking in the toilet but only shut up on arrival; the flight crew
must have asked the airport police to meet them with a specially-selected
team of hard-looking guys with machine guns. I hadn't seen Turkish cops
like that for years.
