Oaks turn a dull brownish red while birch and aspen turn yellow, usually
after most of the leaves have fallen. It is the maple trees that turn
bright red, bright yellow or bright orange. It looks nice enough when
there are just a few of them, but when there are miles and miles of
maple trees and they are all changing at the same time there are
incredible colours.
