It depends, I suppose, on the lappy and whether you're able to leave it
plugged in. I just recently acquired a Toshiba Netbook. It has a USB
port which, with proper configuration, will continue to supply power to
something plugged into the USB port even if it's hibernating or shut off.
That includes draining its onboard batteries to do so if it's not plugged
in. The one time we used it, my daughter charged her iPod off of it,
plugged in. It charged adequately overnight.

Factors:
- Do you already have a USB charger?
- Do you already have a dual-voltage charger?
- Do you have the adapter plug(s) you'll need?
- How many items do you want to have plugged in at the same time?
