Good idea, and I know that you have practised what you preach. It
won't work, though, if people treat the group solely as a question and
answer service. I don't come here just to look for questions about
Ireland that I am able to answer, even though I deal with quite a few
such questions. I like the conversation that can arise.
Personally, I feel inclined to tolerate a bit of thread drift and some
banter, provided it is of a friendly type.
I hope to make an on-topic post next week.
