I don't have any idea about these companies but have you thought about
doing Italy on your own and just getting the train from place to place.
We did that for 4 weeks in 2004 and it's quite easy if you're just
after a typical sight seeing holiday.
I'd only go for a tour if you're after a specialised trip ie cooking or
something.
