>From what I've read Libya's granting of visas to US tourists has been
somewhat capricious. IIRC there was an incident sometime this past
year where a US tour company had booked a buncha Yanks on a tour of
Libya, everything was on the up - and - up until the Libyans
arbitrarily refused to grant the group visas...go figure.
