The post was meant to be funny and not offensive. I have seen more
than a few British films over the years and was just trying to use some
of the phrasing. Didn't realize it was such a touchy subject; and yes,
we are all arses from time to time.
The health related information is very true, though. That was the real
message of the post. Dental health is essential to cardiovascular
health. Whether we need to whiten our teeth or apply veneers is an
individual choice. As long as my teeth are healthy, I probably won't do
either. Avoiding caffiene is another way to keep your teeth clean in
appearance. People have also used baking soda to clean their teeth
forever. It does appear to be more of an American "thing" to
straighten and whiten teeth.
