I'll point out that I asked politely that posters adapt their line
lengths in line with what is suggested by the usenet netiquette FAQs. I
also note that Martin changed his own newsreader from the default 70
(which is a good length) to 80, because..., well in his words:

"Yes. I set it to 80. It had been set to 70 by Agent, which is too short
for most messages I receive."

Magda and Martin are the only posters I remember recently following up
to with this problem, so I find the statement puzzling, but I'll leave
the reader to figure out who is using the newsreader with limitations.

Of course, the solution to this problem was simple.
