OK- that makes more sense then.

Yes, I visited Thailand at that time, though unlike you I noticed all
the christmas decorations absolutely everywhere! :)

We'd been advised to book the domestic legs well in advance- I think we
did it at the time of planning the trip- around 4 months before.

All the flights were full, and they were large aircraft- all 747s IIRC.
What's with the golf course in between the two runways at Bangkok? :)
