If you are prepared to consider Hyde Park, I can recommend the
Darlington Hotel in Sus. Gardens. Also quite close to Paddington- you
can walk from the Heathrow Express if you are arriving at LHR. I stayed
at the Darlington 2 weeks ago- room was smallish but not as small as
many London rooms. Had all the usual tea making facilities, fridge,
inroom safe etc. There is also a basement laundry room with washers &
irons. Breakfast was a buffet or English breakfast cooked to order- I
was even offered seconds. And the bath towels are bath sheets. I dont
know your budget- I paid 85 GBP per night, though the rack rates
displayed in reception are considerably more than that. I booked
online, and you can find the hotel on wotif.
