More important, have a plan to cope with jet lag.
If your plane reach Europe at mid day or in the afternoon, you can feel
reasonabely adapted to your new day cicle in two days. If you arrive in
the morning and could not sleep in the plane you will feel very bad for
much more. I both cases manage some more quiet activities to recover.
