This can also be true. Unfortunately the categorization of roads is much of
in it's infancy. Naturally it is possible that in one region things are a
lot better than in another region. When you select:

1. road naviagtion for motor vehicles
2. avoid main roads
3. select the shortest path

not too seldom generates a path one can go through by a mule

It is quite typical that this path is not passable for an ordinary car.
