As I see it, this only makes my point more interesting as Northern
Africa is tighter linked to Southen Europe and the Middle East than to
Sub-Saharan Africa ethnically, culturally and historically. The
Spannish and Italian on their part is closer linked to Northen Africa
and the Middle East than Northern Europe.

My point is that no matter if you use "sand surrounded by salted water"
or "Civilization" as foundation for the definition of a continent,
"Europe" sucks.
