For that price range try the Hassler at the top of the Spanish Steps. We
were there last November when Tom Cruise, Katie, and guests were there. It
was quite the spectacle. So much so that we couldn't book a room there and
had to settle for the worn out Hotel Forte at the bottom of the Spanish
steps. The security blokes at the Hassler looked pretty daunting and I'm
sure they could ensure you a quiet stay, away from the paparazzi. Have a
nice trip to Rome.
