You will need to carefully plan the logistics, as you're covering
quite a lot of ground.
If you do this by train, there's no way around doing Firenze - Barcelona;
that's at least 17 hours, which will have an impact on the time available
at either end. Why not take Ryanair between Pisa and Girona?
Madrid - Porto is 12 hours. Also quite lenghty. At some point you'll need to
leave Portugal, if to Berlin that's 40 hours, if Paris 20 hours. Paris to
Berlin is 9 hours (which makes this ^^^^^^^^ look very odd).
Go to bahn.de and check how long each journey takes, and consider how
much time that leaves you in each destination. I think you'll find that
at least for the journey away from Portugal, it would be foolish not
to fly. There are low cost flights between Porto and Liverpool, so you
could do Italy->Portugal->Liverpool->London->Paris->Berlin. |
