waves, big skies, clouds, trees, wild beaches, wildlife, weather and
above all mountains all score much higher for me than urban buildings,
galleries, museums etc.
I thought most people had some such preferences either way? I'm sure
woody Allan/Allen has, for instance, or Reinhold Messner. most keen
wilderness lovers claim they would go mad permanently confined to a
city. Robert elms hates the countryside.
Most people seem to have a strong preference for either sport, the
great outdoors or art and culture, doing much more of one of the
three, or often one to the exclusion of the others.
I don't do much of the urban things except ogling girls and going to
restros. (I prefer country pubs to urban bars, not sure where that
stands?).
