It has effected the price of beer all over Europe, since 1995.
The EU action has opened a can of works. The price to bars and restaurants is
still fixed significantly higher, than it is to supermarkets. As a result a beer
at a beach cafe that should cost EUR 1.10 costs EUR 1.90

Gawd knows what is going on in UK where the beer is even more expensive.
