Strictly speaking, Japan invaded the USA on 7 December 1941, but
did not send occupying troops. A short time later they invaded
and occupied part of Alaska. And, of course, England invaded the
USA during the War of 1812. Pancho Villa and his troops invaded
the American state of New Mexico in 1916.
