I think I'm right in saying that last summer was Manchester's warmest,
or near to it. There was never any need for a/c in my flat, despite
having floor to ceiling windows in almost every room, because it is well
designed, and is cross-ventilated. Our flat in Boston is on the shore,
and has cross-ventilation. Even with their hotter summers, there are
only a few days a year where a/c is necessary. I don't understand why
you're even bothering with this conversation, Mike.
