Fair enough, this is matter of individual judgment. I am not opposed to
taking risks for some rewarding experience, I just consider them. For
example, today I travel with my family and would not do many things
that I gladly did as a student.

To each his/her own. I would stay away from cities with large Muslim
populations as well as major European cities this Summer. If the US
does not attack Iran, I'd re-evaluate the risks.
