Specify your needs with the hotel reception or whoever books minicabs
there. Cab firms usually operate a range of vehicles, including people
carriers, which would easily accommodate a party of four plus luggage.
Many firms offer quite competitive rates to London's airports, but ask
for rates before you confirm. The cost shared between four could be
lower per person than Heathrow Express, and the driver will help load
and unload your cases.

I sometimes ask for a larger vehicle from my local minicab firm (in
south west London) and I don't think they charge extra for that.
