In the Altstadt, head to Im Füchsen, a brewpub with a solid menu of
German standards, or Zum Schlüssel, or Im Schiffchen.

Outside of the Altstadt, Frankenheim's own pub, on the original brewery
premises, is a good bet, or in Oststrasse (and not terribly far from the
train station), there's Schumacher. All of these feature good Altbier
and hearty German food.
