stay in Lerwick, car ferry to Bressay, walk to end of island, walk
round Noss, walk back across Bressay, probably only 10 miles extra
walking, you might stay in the B&B there? One extra day!
Do private boat trips count as car or PT? You can do a lot that way
but I dont see any PT related point?
You could then take bus to Sumburgh head hotel and walk to the head
from there for both whales and seabirds.
The night boat to see the storm petrels leaves from a jetty that is
announced on the night according to sea conditions, I dont think there
is PT to any of the start locations anyway. I suppose if you found B&B
near the boat owner he might pick you up?
After that its going to get tiresome, infreqent buses to the north and
long long walks just to see the birds fly off as you come over the
horizon.
