Sadly you will find that the cost of dropping this car off in another
country will be prohibitively expensive, if you can find any hire
company willing to take it on. The problem being that a French
registered car is useless in Italy so they have to repatriate it back
to France. You could try Auto-Europe, they have experience of this
sort of thing:
