That would depend on how interested you are in seeing Versailles. It is a
beautiful building and has nice gardens, which will likely quite bare and
dreary in November after all the flowers have died off. If you really want
to see the place it is a short train ride and could easily be done in half
a day. However, there is so much to see in Paris that you can find lots to
see and do for five days without taking the trip out to Versailles. I
wouldn't even recommend the Eiffel tower. You can see it from just about
everywhere in Paris. There are interesting things near it so you can walk
buy and appreciate the size of it, but going up to the top involves costs
in time and money just to look down on the city. Some people like that, but
it doesn't turn my crank. Between Montmarte, the Louvre, d'Orsay, Pere
LaChaisse, Les Invalides, walking the lovely streets of Paris and enjoying
great food, I am sure that you can keep yourself well amused for five days. |
