I found the cake at Gerbaud not very good, I'm afraid, and overpriced
(plenty good deserts around there!) Are you thinking of the 'sort-of'
takeaway places upstairs in the Market? It's 'fast food' in that
everything is already cooked, but it's very cheap and we were very happy
with what we had there. Just a bit crowded (we were there in July '05),
so you had to fight a little to get a seat.
