But it wasn't so and you'll find a lot of old buildings although they're
from the late 19th century and early 20th. Also a lot of the most
obvious targets as the Reichtag and the Hitlers Reichkanzlei remained
although damaged.
Göhrings heavy Luftfartsministerium is still used by the Government being a
real ugly building. Naturally pictures and documentaries from the war do
show the destroyed areas, those not so affected as Grünewald,Charlottenburg
and other areas wasn't interesting. 80% of the buildings remained
although many damaged but could be reconstructed.
But what's your suggestion for Padraig where to stay ?
