Thanks. I tend to agree with you. They are NOT light packers despite my
suggestions that they'll be less encumbered with a rollerboard type
suitcase, even at the expense of having to do some laundry. I talked a
close friend who's from Italy and he went non-linear when I mentioned
that they might take a car service. He is frugal, as am I, when
traveling, and the thought of spending $180 for a trip that could cost
$30 or so on the train is just outrageous to him. But they are not good
independent travelers, and might not feel comfortable dealing with the
trains.
