I have just quickly read the programme. This year's artistic directors
(directeurs artistiques) Songy & Delormas insist, in their video
speach notably, on experimental cinema, video and numeric
performances, particularly by group of artists (collectifs). I know,
this is normal and easier to entertain people for a night event, but
they concern the quasi totality of the official programme... There are
numerous artists notably in the center of Paris but I must confess
that I knew already only 3... on the total, this time, at the
difference of last year ! Despite some few additional concerts, to
find other things, SCULPTURES notably, you mainly have to choose the
associated projects, mostly in private art galleries. I fear that it
will not be as interesting as the exceptional programme of last year,
the best so far IMO, and I think that this time I will limit my trip
from Les Halles to the National library of Tolbiac. But who knows... :
perhaps will I finally be favorably surprised.
