They are better than most in Europe. If, while driving in other countries, I
see a car whose driver is reacting to a developing situation ahead, the
chances are strongly in favour of it having German or British number plates.
That is not to say that there are not bad drivers in both countries, but
they seem to be the only ones where any drivers have got the idea of looking
further than the front end of their car.
