Sadly, I must agree. My wife and I both had fender benders the
first year after our return to Tucson, but none in the six
ensuing years; we seem to have adjusted to Arizona drivers.

Arizona is the red-light running capital of America. Proceeding
when the light turns green is inviting disaster, and we've
learned to wait a few seconds for the last red-light runner to
come through.

Having come back here from California, again I agree. There are
an inordinate number of junk heaps on the road here, too.
