You didn't read the fine print? Not only are you dumb, you tell
everyone of this ng that you are dumb. There is not such thing as the
"actual rate". The actual rate is the one you booked. On any given
hotel night, there are probably many different rates paid by different
guests, just like on any airline flight there are many many different
prices paid by the passengers.

Next time use Expedia or any other web travel service to narrow down
your search, then check hotel web sites for comparison. Always
compare prices before booking.
