How things are "one day", I wouldn't know.
Currently, if you're a European resident and have Dutch AOW, you can
(_must_, I believe) apply for care insurance from CVZ. You'll get a E10x-
form which is to be handed over at a local insurance company. This local
insurance organization will accept you as a member/customer and will
allow for local health care according to local regulations and standard
packages. They get a fixed amount from CVZ, regardless of the care you
claim.
But caution! At the same time, you'll have to pay for AWBZ, although in
many countries, there's no such care plan included. That's what the Dutch
pensionados in Spain, Belgium, France and Germany have been fighting over
for the past year and a half.
